Sulla scultura

This statuette, showing a naked boy with a shield and grapes is made by Francesco di Simone Ferrucci (1437 - 1493).

The statuette appears originally to have been pigmented. It is related in style to a similar figure in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and possibly belonged to the same complex.
