À propos de la sculpture

This bronze statuette of a thoroughbred horse is part of a larger series of twenty Champion animals. It is the work of Herbert Haseltine whose sculptures used beautiful materials and patinas and were inspired by Egyptian sculptures.

This horse represents Polymelus a thoroughbred who won prized at Goodwood, Newmarket, Ascot and York.
