According to Karel van Mander, Gossaert, dressed in gold brocade, accompanies Lucas van Leyden on a pleasure trip to Ghent, Mechelen and Antwerp.

A design for Queen Isabella's tomb for Christian II
Christian II asks Gossaert to furnish Jean de Hare with the design for the tomb of his queen, Isabella, in the abbey of St Peter near Ghent.
