À propos de la sculpture

Emma Woffenden’s interest in social structures and the power dynamics within human relationships imbue her sculptures with a sense of internal conflict. The fact that the reclining figure – whose form is partly moulded from a bottle – appears to be male, seems at odds with the title of the work.
