De heilige Barbara van Nicomedië, lezend in een boek. In haar rechterhand houdt ze een palmtak. Achter haar de toren waarin zij zat opgesloten. Op de achtergrond wordt de H. Barbara door haar vader onthoofd. In de marge een tweeregelig onderschrift in het Latijn.
