À propos de l’œuvre
In this minutely drawn image, (executed in pen and ink), an elderly-looking lady is shown inserting a thread through a smallish needle. On the left, we see a girl kneeling on the floor. This oneiric and somewhat eerie scene takes place in a semi-rural setting.
