Rivierlandschap. Op de voorgrond wordt Christus door Johannes de Doper gedoopt in de Jordaan. Twee engelen houden zijn kleren vast. De prent heeft een ornamentlijst met bloemen en dieren. Hij maakt deel uit van een vierentwintigdelige serie van landschappen met Bijbelse, mythologische scènes en jachttaferelen.
