Voorstelling van de rivier de Nijl die in Egypte buiten haar oevers treedt en zo het land vruchtbaar maakt. Dit blad is onderdeel van de embleemserie 'Leven van Maria in emblemen'. De eerste staat van deze serie behelst naast een titelpagina en 26 emblemen ook drie bladen met lofzangen op Maria in boekdruk zonder afbeelding.
