Christus spreekt vanuit een boot een menigte mensen toe die op het strand staat. Achter hem halen drie mannen visnetten binnen. Deze prent is onderdeel van een reeks van tien prenten met voorstellingen uit het Nieuwe Testament, waaraan na Callots dood een titelprent is toegevoegd.
