Evoking the title Passed Days, this print honors the resilience, dignity, and enduring presence of ancient civilizations. Yoshida Chizuko structured the composition around a post-and-lintel form—an elemental architectural shape symbolizing stability and universality. This framework subtly recalls monumental sites like Stonehenge and historic temples across cultures. Chizuko rendered these forms with bold, expressive brushstrokes reminiscent of Asian calligraphy, capturing both energy and essence.
