In een rocaille omlijsting een voorstelling van een schaatsende man en vrouw met mof. Links in de achtergrond een schaatsend paar, de vrouw is gevallen. Rechts in de achtergrond veegt een man het ijs. In de ondermarge tweemaal een vierregelige Franse en Duitse tekst.
