In the museum's own words — in Dutch
In de lucht Zephirus, de westenwind. Hij rent achter Flora, de godin van de bloemen, aan. In de linkerhoek blaast Corus, de noordwestenwind. In de rechterhoek blaast de zuidwestenwind Lijbs. Onderaan een Grieks landschap met de rivier de Pindus en de berg Paranassus. Rechts speelt Apollo de luit, omringd door de negen muzen. Links plukken de Jaargetijden (Horae) bloemen. In de verte ligt Delphi. In de marge een Latijns onderschrift met uitleg over de westenwind.
