Dupré makes his debut as a landscape painter at the Paris Salon, exhibiting five paintings, including views of Limousin.
1834
To England to Study Constable
Dupré travels to England to study John Constable's paintings. Constable's landscapes have a profound influence on him.

Five Months with Théodore Rousseau
Dupré and Théodore Rousseau spend five months in the Landes and the Pyrenees.

Twelve Paintings at the Universal Exhibition
Twelve paintings by Dupré are shown at the Universal Exhibition in Paris.
