Maria rijdend op een ezel, naar rechts, het Kind in haar armen. Jozef loopt ernaast. Aan de andere kant loopt een engel mee. Twee engeltjes in een boom reiken het Kind sinasappelen aan. Linksachter de ruïne van een stadspoort.
