Из нижней части скульптуры неопределенной формы выступает резко откинутая назад голова Маяковского. Глаза его широко открыты, взгляд устремлен вперед и вверх. Рот широко открыт, видны вехние зубы. Волосы крупными темными прядями падают по сторонам. Волосы и постамент оранжево-коричневого цвета.
