About the sculpture

This work exemplifies the artist's sculptural approach to form and his use of richly textured painterly surfaces. Its curving and apparently rythmical shape, which is reminscent of musical notation or details found on musical instruments, reflects his particular interest in music, a relationship which is further emphasised by its title.
