Huile sur carton marouflé sur panneau de bois parquetté par l'artiste. Sorte de vernis à la cire blanche. ; Représentation d'une courbe du fleuve (la Seine) depuis les hauteurs du village de Rolleboise. Le ciel assez bas et gris argenté occupe le tiers supérieur de la composition. Paysage de collines avec des champs découpant des surfaces colorées dans une palette d'ocres et de verts. Rideau d'arbres (peupliers ?) dans la courbe, à droite.
