In the museum's own words — in Dutch

Een man met een groot vaandel over zijn linkerschouder (een vaandeldrager), ten voeten uit, op de rechterzijde gezien. Op de achtergrond een heuvelachtig landschap waarin een troep soldaten marcheert. Onder de voorstelling twee regels tekst in Latijn. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van 12 genummerde prenten van militairen, ten voeten uit weergegeven tegen een landschappelijke achtergrond waarin krijgshandelingen verricht worden, en met een tweeregelig Latijns onderschrift.
