Большое полотно Фурини с тремя обнаженными женскими фигурами, эффектно расположенными на темном фоне, является типичным для его творчества. Его картины пользовались большой популярностью благодаря умению передать мягкую пластику и теплые тона женского тела. В этой картине почти нет сюжета, лишь смутно видны очертания пейзажа, и даже голова одной из героинь находится в глубокой тени. Таким образом, внимание зрителя невольно концентрируется на прекрасном теле каждой из "Трех граций". Дочери Зевса и Эвриномы (или Геры, по некоторым версиям), грации были воплощением красоты и радости. Позднее, в римской мифологии, они стали рассматриваться как три сущности Венеры. Тема трех граций стала популярной в итальянском искусстве во второй половине XV века.
