Ilustrare a unei teme din Vechiul Testament. Poporul evreu a traversat Marea Roșie, condus de Aaron și Moise, purtând Chivotul cu Tablele Legii. Apele mării au fost separate de Moise, îngăduind astfel traversarea. În urma evreilor, oastea faraonului Egiptului este înghițită de ape.
