May one see it?
Minneapolis, United States
On public display.
Nakahashi’s photograph depicts the reverse side of a U.S. twenty-dollar bill, intentionally altered by the artist. In it, the White House, residence of the sitting president of the United States, has effectively disappeared under a layer of semitransparent white pigment. A sociopolitical statement? Or merely a bit of fun?
