London, United Kingdom
It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
This bronze group of the Flagellation is by an unknown artist, made late 16th cnetury in the South Netherlands. The plinth and the column are 19th century replacements. The group was previously ascribed to Pierino da Vinci.
In Christian Art the Flagellation, also called Christ at the Column, is a frequently shown scene from the Passion of Christ.
