The whole life
  1. 1948–1989

    Travel: Spain

  2. 1965

    Meets Amanda Lear

At a French nightclub Dalí met the model Amanda Lear, then known as Peki Oslo, who became his protégée and one of his muses. According to Lear, she and Dalí were united in a “spiritual marriage” on a deserted mountaintop.

  3. 1968

The Castle of Púbol for Gala

Dalí bought the Castle of Púbol for Gala; from 1971 she would retreat there for weeks at a time, and he agreed not to visit without her written permission. His fear of abandonment by his muse fed his depression and failing health.

  4. 1969

The Chupa Chups logo and the Eurovision stage

Dalí designed the Chupa Chups logo, helped design the advertising campaign for the 1969 Eurovision Song Contest and created a large metal sculpture for its stage at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
