Since after his declaration of insolvency Rembrandt could not trade on his own, in 1660 Titus and Hendrickje founded an art-dealing firm through which his works were sold.

Death of Hendrickje Stoffels
Hendrickje died in July 1663. Her death is sometimes linked to the plague, though the burial records of those days do not confirm an epidemic at that moment.
