Een man zittend op een bed, de vrouw naast hem ontdoet zich van haar kleding. Rechts een doorkijk naar buiten, waar de sterren aan de hemel staan, een koe en schapen in de wei. De balken van de kamer vormen een omlijsting rond de voorstelling. Aan de balken hangt landbouwgereedschap.
