About the work
Robert Mason taught the MA drawing course at Wimbledon School of Art between 1995 and 2003. His bold and dynamic imagery - recalling Graham Sutherland's work of the 1940s and '50s - seems to be abstracted from his observation of actual forms, such as those found on construction sites.
