About the work

Two views, made with two different negatives, of an oil slick in a puddle of water on a city street from above. The top image shows a reflection of the artist's head in the puddle, and the bottom image shows a reflection of the corner and roofline of a building. A dirty rag lies in the puddle above the building's reflection.
