This is apparently a sketch-model for an unidentified model. The ascription to the Guillaume Kerricx the Elder, rests on the fact that the same highly individual technique of modelling, with deeply striated surface, occurs in terracotta models by him in the Musee Royal des Beaux-Arts at Brussels.
