Piesă de formă dreptunghiulară alcătuită din icoana propriu-zisă (blat simplu, dintr-o singură bucată de lemn) cu 2 pene, pe spate. Icoana îl prezintă, pe Sf. Nicolae, stând pe tron. El binecuvânteză și ține în mâna stângă Cartea Sfântă. El este îmbrăcat în veșminte de mare arhiereu-sacos, mantie, omofor, mitră, aureolă. Veșmintele sunt ornamentate cu motive florale stilizate (flori, frunze, crengi, puncte, flori din puncte). Bordurile sunt decorate cu galon aurit. Scena este încadrată de chenar cu motive florale (frunze de acant, boboci, frunze). Cromatica: verde închis, roșu-corai, vernil, maron, galben, alb, auriu.
