Dibujo muy relacionado con el cuadro La llegada de las barcas, Jávea pintado en 1905, y que se encuentra en el Museo Sorolla. En primer plano, dos figuras masculinas. En segundo plano, una recua de bueyes guiadas por un boyero, avanza en escorzo de izquierda a derecha, arrastrando hacia el agua una barca situada a la izquierda. Detrás, trazos insinúan ligero oleaje. Al fondo la línea del horizonte.
