Het offer van Abel. Op de voorgrond Abels offeraltaar, waarop schapen worden geofferd. De rook gaat omhoog. Op de achtergrond Kaïns offeraltaar, waarop groenten worden geofferd. De rook van het offer stijgt niet omhoog. Boven in de lucht verschijnt God in de wolken. God keurt Abels offer goed. De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift en is de eerste prent uit een negendelige serie met scènes uit het Oude Testament.
