Sculptura reprezintă un bărbat cu torsul gol, în pantaloni, desculț, stând pe o piatră, cu piciorul drept sprijinit pe sol, iar cel stâng, ușor ridicat. În mâna stângă ține un topor. Semnat pe soclu de piatră, spate: C. Meunier.
