In the museum's own words — in Dutch
De muezzin roept bij de ingang de moslims op om de gebedsruimte te betreden. Bij het begin van het gebed zal hij de oproep herhalen ten teken dat het gebed begonnen is. De muezzin sluit de oren af, zodat hij kan controleren of zijn stem goed klinkt. Deze moskee is gevestigd in een voormalig schoolgebouw in de Batjanstraat te Amsterdam.
