May one see it?
London, United Kingdom
It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
This white wax relief depict Moses standing on the left pointing upwards to the serpent coiled round a tree trunk behind him. In the foreground to the right there are groups of men and women pointing towards the serpent; one man is supporting a recumbent man, another carrying a child. In the wooded landscape background are other groups of figures.
The relief is unusually large and the very low suggesting a connection with metal work.
