Heads the life-drawing class at the Moscow school

From 1894 until 1918 Arkhipov headed the life-drawing class of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture; many well-known artists of the first half of the twentieth century — S. He himself never married and had no children, but his style and traditions were continued by a close relative, Boris Viktorovich Pyrikov.

  2. 1918–1920

Reorganisation of the school; teaching at the State Free Art Studios

After the October Revolution Arkhipov took part in the reorganisation of the school, and from 1918 to 1920 he taught at the State Free Art Studios (GSKhM).

  3. 1922–1924

    Teaches at Vkhutemas

From 1922 to 1924 Arkhipov taught at Vkhutemas.
