In the museum's own words — in Dutch

Christus zit met zijn leerlingen aan tafel. Hij zegent en breekt het brood, waardoor zijn leerlingen hem herkennen. Rechts geeft een vrouw een glas wijn aan en onder de tafel ligt een hond. Rechts in de deuropening de Emmaüsgangers onderweg.
