Flora zit als personificatie van de lente op een wolk en is omgeven door drie gepersonifieerde maanden die gebladerte en bloemen bij zich dragen. Flora is gekroond met een bloemenkrans en maakt een tweede van de bloemen die de Maanden haar aanreiken.

The Literary Society Nil Volentibus Arduum
After moving to the Spinhuissteeg, he became a member of the literary society Nil Volentibus Arduum, which apparently met at his house from 1676 to 1681.

Paintings for Soestdijk Palace
He painted pictures for the decoration of Soestdijk Palace; in this period he also created stage sets for the theater and drawings for the theatrical works of Andries Pels and the collector Gerrit Reynst.
