It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
In the series My Marche, shimmering figures engage in a mysterious choreography with the sea at Marina di Montemarciano, a coastal town south of Senigallia. Giacomelli used multiple exposures, slow shutter speeds, and experimental lighting to create haunting images that underscore his deep connection with the Marche region’s seaside. He would later incorporate a different cropping of the image with five figures in the series The Theater of Snow ([2016.179.2](https://www.getty.edu/art/collection/objects/297412/), [2016.179.22](http://www.getty.edu/art/collection/objects/297471/), [2016.19.27](https://www.getty.edu/art/collection/objects/297476/)).
