Kaïn slaat zijn broer Abel dood. Op de achtergrond zijn twee offeraltaren te zien. Kaïns offer wordt geweigerd, de rook gaat naar beneden. Het offer van Abel wordt wel door God geaccepteerd. Rechtsachter verschijnt God na de moord aan Kaïn. Onderaan in de marge een verwijzing naar de Bijbeltekst in het Latijn.
