Het Huis van de Slaap. Boven op het gebouw Diana en Nacht, in haar armen haar kinderen Slaap (Hypnos) en Dood (Thanatos). In het midden in de nis Slaap, met zijn attribuut papaver in de hand. In het huis wemelt het van de Oneiroi (wezens die verantwoordelijk zijn voor menselijke dromen). In de marge de titel in het Frans, Engels, Duits en Nederlands. De voorstelling is gedecoreerd met een ornamentele rand.
