Bacchus zit als personificatie van de herfst op een wolk en is omgeven door drie gepersonifieerde maanden die wijnranken en ander seizoensfruit bij zich dragen. Bacchus is gedeeltelijk bedekt met een tijgervel en gekroond met wingerdbladen en druiven, in zijn linkerhand houdt hij een hoorn des overvloeds.

The Literary Society Nil Volentibus Arduum
After moving to the Spinhuissteeg, he became a member of the literary society Nil Volentibus Arduum, which apparently met at his house from 1676 to 1681.

Paintings for Soestdijk Palace
He painted pictures for the decoration of Soestdijk Palace; in this period he also created stage sets for the theater and drawings for the theatrical works of Andries Pels and the collector Gerrit Reynst.
