Joris zakt licht door zijn knieën aan de voet van een standbeeld van Apollo. Daarachter vliegt de vuurspuwende draak. De koning richt zich half op van zijn troon die onder een baldakijn geplaatst is. Rondom kijken mensen toe. Op de voorgrond twee verschrikt opkijkende jongetjes met een hond. In de lucht een putto en een engel die Joris een lauwerkrans boven het hoofd houdt.

    "The Seven Liberal Arts" Tapestries Woven in Bruges

    After Schut's cartoons, the series of eight tapestries "The Seven Liberal Arts" was woven repeatedly in Bruges in 1655–1675 and in Brussels workshops; the "Allegory of Music" from this series is in the Hermitage.
