Christus wordt door Jozef van Arimatea en Nikodemus in het graf gelegd. Rond de tombe treuren Maria, Maria Magdalena, Johannes en twee andere vrouwen. Op de achtergrond het kruis. In de marge een tweeregelig onderschrift in het Latijn.
