About the work

In the museum's own words — in Dutch

Gezicht op de baanderheerlijkheid Haamstede. Linksboven een gezicht op de ruïne van Slot Haamstede, zoals het eruit zou hebben gezien na de brand van 1525 en voor de wederopbouw. Boven in het midden twee putti met het wapen van Haamstede (tevens het wapen van de familie Van Haamstede) en het wapen van de familie Orliens. Rechtsboven een gezicht op Slot Haamstede in herbouwde staat. Nummering van eerdere staat helemaal rechtsboven zichtbaar uitgewist.
