May one see it?
London, United Kingdom
It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
The saints stands with her right foot slightly forward, holding an open book in her right hand covered with her cloak. She wears a wimple and a gold cloak over a robe decorated with red and gold designs. The figure has been tentatively identified as St Elizabeth of Hungary although her pose also recalls figures of St Anne. The type of polychromy, though partially restored suggests that this figure was made in Castile, but under Netherlandish influence.
