About the sculpture

Only the head has been stolen, the body of the statue is at the museum. Marble statue of Eros-Cherub. The Greek aide-god of love. It is a Roman copy (c. 160 AD), after Greek original, dating to the 4th century A.D. Discovered at Hatra.
