Elisabet is de wildernis ingevlucht uit angst voor de soldaten van Herodes. Engelen helpen haar en geven het kind Johannes de Doper te eten. Rechtsboven de hemelvaart van Elisabet. De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift en maakt deel uit van een serie met als onderwerp vrouwelijke kluizenaars.
