It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
This bust length portrait in graphite shows a woman in three quarter profile who turns her head to her right to look out at the audience. The artist has used loose lines to outlilne the form of the sitter's dress. A mixture of soft and heavy lines and hatchin allow the artist to focus on the features of the sitter. The loose hear of the sitter and simple style of the dress, with it's puffed sleeves suggests that this drawing dates from the 1820s or 1830s.
