Diana, godin van de aarde en van de jacht, beschermster van het wild, ligt te slapen in het bos. Naast haar twee honden. Haar linkerarm steunt op een pijlkoker. De sikkel van de maan op haar voorhoofd is haar attribuut als maangodin. Prent uit een serie van vier prenten naar fresco's van Pietro da Cortona.
