Al fondo a la derecha, una figura masculina de pie, en pose de tres cuartos a la derecha visto desde atrás, parece sostener algo. Frente a él dos figuras femeninas. Podría tratarse de un sacerdote administrando el Cuerpo de Cristo a los fieles.

Moves to Madrid: large canvases for the salons
The family moved to Madrid. For the next decade Sorolla concentrated on large canvases of orientalist, mythological, historical and social subjects for salons and international exhibitions in Madrid, Paris, Venice, Munich, Berlin and Chicago.
